ACPA Has Announced the NPAC 2023 Vice-Chairs

The American College of Physician Advisors (ACPA) is pleased to announce the National Physician Advisor Conference (NPAC) Vice-Chairs for 2023 are Scott Ceule, MD, FACP, FAAP and Stephanie Van Zandt, MD, FACOG.

Scott CeuleDr. Ceule is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine in the Emergency Department at the University of Kansas Health System. He serves as the Vice-Chair for Administrative Affairs for the Emergency Department and became the first physician advisor for the health system in 2017. He has built that program and enjoys mentoring other physician advisors. He current serves as the Medical Director for the Transfer Center which his supported by the physician advisor team.

 

Stephanie Van ZandtDr. Van Zandt is the Medical Director for  Baycare Health System’s Physician Advisor Program. This role incorporates her 25 years of clinical experience with her utilization management (UM) and case management (CM) experiences. Over the past four years in this role, she has adapted and expanded the Physician Advisor program, leveraging an entirely in-house team of physician advisors, advanced care practitioners, and UM analysts to provide full-spectrum, proactive, and integrated hospital- and system-based physician advisor services.

Drs. Ceule and Van Zandt join the current NPAC team which includes NPAC Champion Emeric Palmer MBBS, MBA, FACP and NPAC Chair Elizabeth Quinn, MD.
