Vaccination Requirement

ACPA will require proof of COVID-19 vaccination for all participants attending NPAC 2022.

All NPAC 2022 onsite participants (including all conference attendees, conference presenters, conference organizers, conference vendors/exhibitors, ACPA staff, and guests) are required to upload proof of vaccination in advance before being allowed into the NPAC 2022 event area. A COVID-19 booster shot is strongly encouraged as extra protection.

To facilitate the above, we have secured the services of 42Chat to manage vaccination verification, both leading up to and during NPAC 2022.

42Chat is an award-winning and nationally recognized industry leader. HealthShield by 42Chat is GDPR compliant and US Commerce Department “Privacy Shield '' compliant. The security measures meet or exceed all current industry standards. You can find more information on HealthShield at 42Chat.com.

Beginning March 14, 2022, you will be asked to submit your vaccination card to the 42Chat secure vaccination verification portal.

42Chat will verify each attendee’s vaccination prior to the event. An APPROVE or DECLINE (with explanation) for each submission will be received within one business day of the upload via text message to your mobile phone.

Disclaimer: We use your mobile phone number to contact you via text for NPAC 2022, Covid-19 health status updates, and emergency information only. Your data will not be shared with, sold to, or marketed to by any third party.

You must show the vaccination verification to the NPAC 2022 team before picking up your conference badge.

You may also view this short video that explains the 42Chat vaccination upload process.

Mask Requirements

The State of Texas and Travis County do not currently require individuals, regardless of vaccination status, wear a mask indoors.

However, ACPA does require that all NPAC 2022 participants wear a mask for indoor settings, in all conference venues, with the exception of speakers while they are presenting on stage. Masks may be removed during times when individuals are actively eating or drinking such as during meals and snack breaks. Individuals sipping on beverages while walking through the exhibit hall, during presentations, etc. are expected to replace their mask over their nose and mouth between sips.

Masks are not required for outdoor networking opportunities; however, we encourage you to do what you are most comfortable with.

ACPA “Be Well” Policy

ACPA will enforce its “Be Well'' policy. As a condition of onsite participation, during registration, consent will be required by all participants to also follow this policy.

The following stipulation is included in the policy: If you feel sick or are experiencing COVID-like symptoms or have a confirmed or suspected case of the disease prior to traveling to or while onsite in Austin-you will reconsider your participation at the event.

Hyatt Regency Austin COVID-19 protocols

The Hyatt Regency Austin, hosting venue of NPAC 2022, has its own COVID-19 protocols and requirements within its premises, outside of the NPAC 2022 event area.

For information on the COVID-19 protocols in effect for the Hyatt Regency Austin, you may check here.
